Agreement

This agreement, dated as of ________________, is between Olivia Hall, doing business as Hearts of Love Breeding Co. (“Breeder”), and ______________________ (“Buyer”). The subject of this agreement is the above-described puppy (“Puppy”).

1,Purchase Terms

    •    A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy. Which goes towards total purchase price.

    •    The total purchase price is $2,500–$4,000, depending on size, color, and pedigree.

    •    The remaining balance is due at or before pickup (between 8–10 weeks old).

    •    Buyer is responsible for all delivery or transport costs, if applicable.

    •    Payments accepted: Zelle, Cash, Apple Pay.

No Refund Policy: All payments, including deposits and final balances, are strictly non-refundable. No exceptions.

2. Registration

If applicable, the Puppy will be registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). Registration may be limited or full depending on the agreement. Not all puppies are sold with breeding rights.

    •    Breeder will provide registration paperwork, if offered.

    •    Buyer agrees not to remove “Hearts of Love” from the Puppy’s registered name.

3. Breeder’s Guarantees

a. The Breeder certifies that she is the lawful owner of the Puppy and has the right to sell it.

b. The Puppy is in good health and has received:

    •    First vaccinations

    •    Deworming

    •    A veterinary health check

c. Breeder provides a 1-year genetic health guarantee for life-threatening congenital defects.

If a licensed vet identifies a qualifying issue within this timeframe, Buyer may return the Puppy for a replacement puppy from the next available litter of equal value.

Buyer is responsible for any transportation, veterinary, or associated costs.

No monetary refunds will be issued under any circumstance.

4. Buyer’s Responsibilities

Buyer agrees to:

    •    Provide proper nutrition, shelter, medical care, and a loving home.

    •    Not resell, surrender, or rehome the Puppy without Breeder’s written approval.

    •    Return the Puppy to Breeder if no longer able to care for it (no refund due).

    •    Never use the Puppy or its offspring for puppy mills, research, or commercial resale.

5. Spay/Neuter Policy

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this Puppy is sold as a companion only and must be spayed/neutered by 12 months of age. Proof of procedure must be provided to the Breeder.

6. Breeding/Show Rights (If Applicable)

If sold with rights:

    •    Breeder makes no guarantees of show or breeding quality in adulthood.

    •    Buyer is responsible for all associated costs, health testing, and handling.

7. Updates & Communication

Buyer agrees to the following:

    •    Buyer must notify the Breeder if they are no longer able to keep the Puppy. The Puppy may not be rehomed, transferred, or surrendered without the Breeder’s prior written approval.

    •    Buyer also agrees to notify the Breeder of any major life-threatening health concerns, including but not limited to serious genetic conditions, organ failure, seizures, or other significant medical diagnoses.

    •    Regular photo updates and general communication are not required, but always welcomed.

8. Right to Reclaim

Breeder retains the right to reclaim the Puppy, with no refund, if neglect, mistreatment, or abuse is suspected and confirmed by a licensed veterinarian.

9. Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
